Then we travel to Ouarzazate, passing through the unforgiving stone desert, to see the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous film studios. After lunch, take a drive through the Dades Valley on the famed 1000 Kasbahs Road, passing via the intriguing hamlet of Skoura and on to Kelaat Magouna, known for its flowers. We’ll also pass by a miner’s village and meet nomadic Berber families who still live and travel in the desert. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Merzouga town for a camel ride and a night in a desert tent.
On the final day of our vacation, we’ll travel from Merzouga to Fes, which will be a long day. We’ll pull off to the side of the road to take in the views of the Ziz valley, Middle Atlas mountains, and cedar forest, as well as keep an eye out for monkeys.
